    Feeding in Blue
Is this an absolute nono? I was camping all weekend, and my friend was spraying the tank for me for a couple days, and today we go out to get a mouse for his meal of the week, and I sort of had a premonition that he was about to go blue last week. So as I head to the store, I joke to my boyfriend that we're going to get home with the mouse and he'll be blue.

    And that's exactly what happened.

I'm not really prepared to keep this mouse kickin around for a week and I haven't decided if I can just take it back to the store... can I absolutely not feed him today? He must be at least a day or two into it but his eyes are only a little cloudy.

You can go ahead and try feeding him. My guys wont feed while they're in blue but many do. There are no ill effects from feeding in blue. I could be wrong but I believe it loosens the skin up, probably aids in the shedding process.

Yeah, like was already mentioned, it seems most will refuse to eat while in blue, but there really doesn't seem to be much harm in feeding them if they are willing to take it.
One of my girls still goes into full on feeding mode come feed day whether she's in blue or not, so I don't skip meals for her, where as I have others that won't even go near food when they are blue.
