    green eyed lucy???
these thoughts just hit me. in colubrids, when u cross a albino with a leucistic, you get red eyed lucys- i think that would be the same in ballpythons.

but would a spider leucistic be a green eyed lucy????????

No it wouldn't - the BEL genes are "stronger" I guess you could say. BEL causes all pigment reduction, not just melanin. The only genes that "overlap" BEL would be Albino. Hard to explain technically, but from experience breeding BEW rabbits for years in many breeds, and seeing pictures of the albino leucistic ball pythons that proves it. There are already Pastel BEL's and they still have Blue eyes regardless of the fact that Pastels have green. A green eyed lucy would be amazing though, and maybe it will be done someday :please:

    soo......
why have BlakELs still got black eyes?

    and......
    in a 4 gene BEL,
would 2x pastel genes (super pastel BluEL/super pastel BlakEL) be strong enough to create a green eyed lucy?

I honestly don't know :) It is a separate form of leucism though. I'm only referring to blue eyed for this discussion.

I still don't believe a super pastel would cause a green eyed lucy though. Like I said the only gene I've seen "overlap" BEL/BEW is Albino. But that's just from what I've seen :)
