can any one tell me how much a blue eyed lucy cost because i know some one that has one a butter x butter one and he is selling it for 500 it is an 09 one.
so do you guys think thats a good price thanks

Yeah that is really cheap for one. If you know the person that's selling it that is a steal. If it's someone online selling it I would really suspect a scam.

About a year and a half ago I think they were running like 5000 for one, so they're probably still worth well over a thousand dollars.

Also, considering that its a butter x butter instead of a cross it's pretty nice because all of the offspring will be butters and there will be no confusion between them and lessers. 500$ is suspicious online, as stated before, but it's magnificent if you know the person. Considering butters are around 300+ alone (unless they drastically dropped in price recently).

This has ripoff written all over it. Proceed with caution

By the way.... All white, usually no splotching, and they wont have purple/greyish marks on their head.

Might be pink if its a baby, but there shouldnt be shading on the head, and few blotches.

i actually dont know the guy but i saw his ad in this site saying he broke and needs the money so he has to some snakes so he has a clown and the lucy for sale the clown for 1000 and lucy for 500 said pick up only he lives like two hour from me but the good thing is im almost going to my yearly trip to my cousins and he lives like a 5 min from where they live. so i tought ill go ahead and buy it if i can get the money. the only reason i go visit is all the good reptile stores close by and they know me by heart so even if he is lying i might still be getting some new balls from some other people i know

What was this website? Have a look round it and see if any of the pics look to have come from someone elses site. Google image search can help with that.

Ask him for pictures on a piece of card with something wierd and unusual written on it.

Look up his name on the BOI. Google it to see if it brings up anything suspicious.

Ask him if your cousins can go take pics if he says he doesn't have a camera.

It might be genuine but there are a few scammers known to work the florida area.

Basically be very, very cautious.

i saw the ad on Craigs List in California. my cousins cant get pic cause they dont have a comp plus they dont have a camera to add to that.plus she has a kid to take care of and has no time you might think one is not bad but you have to meet him he is 2 years old and the most annoying little thing you ever saw. i only suvived last time i went because i was never with them. any way ill see it when i go like in a week .

well this sucks i called the guy and he said it was pending i just hope he does not sell it
