BEL + Pinstripe, lemme see if I get that right
Python genetics doing my head-in :rolleye2:
Trying ..... and trying .. and trying some more to understand that
A BEL (Lesser / Lesser) bred with a Pinstripe.
Am I right in thinking, that this should produce
25% Lesser
25% Kingpin
25% Pastel Kingping
25% Pinstripes
?

Take another shot at it. Where did the pastel come from?
Re: BEL + Pinstripe, lemme see if I get that right
Because the BEL is a super form.. If you just take it to the PinStripe"
MALE: Super Mojave
FEMALE: Pinstripe
50%: Mojave
50%: Mojave, Pinstripe
Re: BEL + Pinstripe, lemme see if I get that right
A super lesser produces 100% lessers, so:
50% lesser pins
50% lessers

Pinstripes are their own stand-alone gene. It's dominant, like spider. Unless someone has proved differently and I missed it. :weirdface

Nah makes sense now .. nothing specific in Berrys book or google for that matter so it was actually quite clear that it is a stand-alone gene - but since I am new to this I wanted to make sure ...
As for pastel - I think this post just confused me a bit and I made a wrong assumption : http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...6&postcount=12. I am sure he meant breeding Pastel + Pinstripe - at least this is what I think now :D
