petco now sells tegus

so i found out a long time ago, and i thought i had already posted about it..
i saw a petco "new companion coming soon@" labeled "Argentine black and white tegu" and i was like omg!!! no!!!

i just can't wait to see the petco caresheet for it.... maybe this is their way to sell 40 gallon tanks........

normally i don't get butthurt about things but i really love tegus even though i don't have one and it makes me mad to just think about a tegu struggling to survive due to improper husbandry :(

It's a considerably better choice then a green iguana or a large monitor.

Wow! Thats disappointing. Petsmart near me just recently got sand boa's, milk snakes, veiled chameleons, crocodile geckos and california king snakes. They also have leopard geckos and get this....JUMBO leopard geckos...which are twice the price as "regular" leopard geckos. They're selling ADULT leopard geckos, calling them "jumbo" and selling them for double. Don't even get me started on pet stores....
