    Orion new pick-up
Hey all! Last week I got a new spider from Royal Gem Reptiles. He has fed on Sunday without any issues and shows only a slight wobble (hopefully it will stay that way!) I really love the colouration he has there is some orange in the yellow here and there.

I was watching that snakebytes show the other day and the dude talked about how different morphs have different traits associated with them.

I caught that one too. Spiders have what seems to be a genetic issue that is associated with that colour phase "the wobble" I have seen hachling spiders mixed with some normals the normals showed no sign of wobble but all the spiders did. This is the only trait that is proven that I know of but there very well could be others. The most gentle snake I have encountered is a old ball (23 years) he is very very dark isn't a cinny but one massively dark normal. I believe the vid commented on dark snakes as being more tempermental? That has not been my experience. Orion has hissed at me and my other snakes never have.

PS thanks everyone for your thoughts I really like him he seems to be settling in well. Tonight is feeding night so we'll see about the second meal.
