    camera gurus.....some questions
im sure that cameras have a "life" just like any other piece of equipment. i have notied that my pictures have started to get fuzzy lately. before they were crisp and now they are almost pixelated. it is a cannon powershot that i got way back when but it has been babied. we never really used it too much up until now.

here are some examples. both are taken with the same settings just different lighting.

crispish (im sure they could be clearer)

now fuzzy. look at the background. you can see the pixel type stuff going on.

i know the difference between a blur and pixelated and this is not a blur issue. at first, i thought it was a lighting issue as the frist picture was under the tent and the second wasn't but this morining i was taking some pictures of my new addition under the tent and they came out all fuzzy.

so is the camera done for? or am i missing something?

This sounds like an issue with the digital "eye" that see's the image..You might find a local camera repair shop and see if they can run any test's on your equipment and/or fix the issue..

Also, check your ISO-settings. They must be as low as possible. High ISO values create pixelated pictures.
