    My first apartment!!!
I'm sooooooooo excited!! Signed the lease for my first apartment last night, we get to start moving in tomorrow!!!

What's the best way to move the snakes? take them first, or last? Put then all in pillow cases? Orr a styrofoam box? I would think the box would get to hott though, it's so humid!

What do ya'll think?? :) I shall take pics of the place tomorrow and put them up! Itss

    - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.
    - Each bedroom has a walk in closet.
    - Full living room.
    - Balcony.
    - Fire place.
    - Huuuuuge kitchen, with a bar.
    - All utilities included except electric!

Sounds like a really nice apartment! We have to pay gas and electric, but gas is only about $6 a month. 2bed/1bath.

I don't even know how to move snakes, but good luck! And Congrats!

Congrats on the new place. the first one is always exciting sounds like you found a pretty nice place. I would probably move the snakes at the end or last. Pillow casees or snake bags would be fine. Congrats again

If you're starting your move in the morning, I'd go with the snakes in the first trip, during the coolest part of the day. Place each snake in its own bag or pillowcase. (If you use pillowcases, turn them inside out so the snake can't get tangled in threads...and check the security of all the seams/stitches.) Tie the bags securely, then place them into a tub or other box you can secure. A flat tub is best...don't stack them on top of each other. Put extra paper or towels in the empty spaces so they can't shift around.

Put them into the car last thing...drive straight to the apartment..then take them out of the car first thing...go inside and tuck them away on a closet shelf or in a cabinet until you finish the rest of the day's work. They can spend a few hours in the bags without harm until you're ready to get their homes set up again and unpack them.

Hope that helps! Good luck with it!!

That's not to bad for gas, but I am sure glad it's included in this place because a lot of the stuff in there is gas! lol thanks

I moved from NY to NC into an apt. then I moved into a house and all snakes were with me all times. I just used Pillow cases and had no issues at all. I am assuming that you checked the lease for pet clauses specifically banning reptiles as my lease did have one. There were no fish tanks allowed and no snakes of any kind.
