Heat?

Hello, I was wondering how I could heat my ball python, I am getting one soon and the only part that I'm confused is on heating it. How do you guys heat your bp? Thanks:banana:

I like Flexwatt because in my experience it's very very cheap compared with the other option. I got it from http://www.reptilebasics.com/. You need the clips ($5) and have them attach them for you (free).

The other option is the heating pads from pet stores.

Either way it should cover 1/3 to 1/2 of the bottom of your enclosure and be regulated by a thermostat. This is the most inexpensive recommended one. They go up in price and quality, starting with (I think) Johnson, then Helix, Ranco, and Spyder Robotic's Herpstat (which I hope to get). Read up on those if you want to get something nice.

Try not to use heat lamps or anything like that as they dry out the air and make keeping humidity up a real fight.
