Can a ball python cage have too much stuff in it?
Can a BP enclosure have too much stuff in it, "stuff" in this case beging hides, decor, etc. I have a 20 gallon and sometimes I feel like it is too crowded to feed in. Is it better to have the cage crowded or more open?

Ball pythons like small crowded spaces. It makes them feel secure. The only problem with having that much stuff is that it can be a real pain in the butt to clean.

    I agree with python.

Just hope your bp doesn't go on a "let's smear poo everywhere" phase.

I don't think there can ever be too much stuff for your ball python. Mine actually ate inside her hide once. Granted, the hides were a little big, but it was still a cramped space in which to kill and eat.
