what morphs should i start of with?
hey guys i have about 500 dollars to spend on ball pythons. the breeder is local and will give me a lower price compared to kingsnake.com. iam thinking about spiders and pastels to make bumblebees. he gave me a deal on both for about 200 dollars. what should i do with the other 300? and if you guys dont think bumblebees are a good idea, then give me some more options. thanks!

Just go for whatever you want to produce, but Id def go with females over males for now. Maybe a female mojave or lesser if you like BEL's.

get what you like.............and what you would keep what appeals to you...get a decent set upand save the rest for vet bills food etc..

Most will disagree with me but I would get something besides a spider. I'm just not a big fan of spiders because of the wobble and don't see the need to add known genetic problems to my collection. You could go with a pinstripe or lesser. Either of those would be cool with a pastel. You could also get a cinny and make pewters.

Spend the money on females for sure, then save up and get a male or two in the coming years. Females generally take up to 3 years to breed whereas males can breed at about 1 year of age.
Have a look around and pick morphs that you like, then work in that direction....
