    thermostaat for slider hood..??
    Hey i was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent thermostat that i can use with a slider hood with grounded plugs.

    i dont completely understand ur post, but i would suggest the reptitemp 500. i use two and ive never had a problem, its only 25 bucks, if u want to spend more money i hear herpstats are the way to go.

    what i meant was that the plugs on the slider hood have 3 prongs.
    i have a reptitemp 500 and was not able to use it because it only has holes for 2 prong plugs.
    any thermostats have the 3 prong holes for 3 prong (grounded) plugs?

    Herpstst they have a 3 prong model you will never need to worry with it!

    i was talking about "slider hood".

    u need the plug for ur heat source to be grounded?
    prolly a herpstat then, not sure if reptitemps make a grounded version
