Funny, my BP refuses unless its a 2 course meal

Amazing how easy you can "ruin" an eating habbit :oops:

Used to feed mine only weaner .. was never strike feeding (f/t) but took it into her hide after about 10 minutes just lying there...

Now I had a spare live small mouse once (which I am feeding my Kings) so I threw that mouse to her ... she nailed it instantly ... now since then she refused weaner, live or f/t, gerbils, multies and whatnot but mice - any time with agressive feeding response... So I thought - I live with it .. But nutrition wise I would prefer rats so I tried something else.

I hoped when she is still in feeding mode that she would eat anything ... So today I gave her a small live mouse ... so small that she could kill it with her mouth - no consitriction needed... Once the tail was down I killed the weaner I tried before the mouse - put it in with her .. 5 minutes later she started happily munching it ..

I wonder how long it takes for her to demand desert too :rolleye2:

(and no, don't even suggest braining and whatnot - not my thing .. killing them is as far as I go really).
