What are you keeping your 5ish ft boas in?
I recently traded for 3 new boas, 1 of which is small, the others are pushing the 5 ft mark and idk what to keep them in really. Currently i have them in tubs that are pry 4 x 1 1/2. Is that okay? Im kinda new to the boa thing and have two new really pretty guys I'd love to keep healthy lol

ill post pictures of them tomorrow

I keep mine in boaphile cages. 4' x 2' x 1'H. I'd love to have higher cages though so they could climb.

    Boaphile Plastics
    PVC cages
    Animal Plastics
    Proline cages

    Do some web searchs.

I was looking at the Boaphile 421D, a buddy is selling one for even cheaper than the pretty low new price tag...Is the low height really an issue?

I don't think height is a health concern.

But if a BCI, BCC, or simular boa is given a chance they will climb around and perch up in some branches or on some ledges. I think it is good for them to get some exercise.

Another option is the VE-175 tub. I am considering this because I kind of like the top access. Although not as attractive as the PVC and Melamine cages, I think access and cleaning would be easier. I still have a few more months to think about it...

Would you need to add extra locks?
