Hey, thanks. I just need some website names and I've seen enough complaints about bug-covered or half-rotten items to not want to buy from fauna.

I'd go to an expo, but Morgantown is still an unfortunately small city. :( The Steel City Expo, though nearby, isn't for another month and I need food a little sooner than that.

    I hear ya.

I would order a supply for now, and when that show comes around bring a nice chunk of change for more f/t. The thing that kills is the shipping costs!! Its only really worth it if you order a lot. I know American Rodent has free shipping with certain orders. Try and see if there are local breeders in the area too. Thats what I did for a while, but the person had to stop breeding for some reason or other. Just google rat breeders and the name of wherever your located. You'd be surprised what might pop up. And look for some exotic pet stores, they often will give better deals then petco/petsmart on f.t.

I have googled it and tried again just now to be sure. I get crazy people breeding them for pets, then rat terriers, then other dogs. Even when I check for Pittsburgh...:slamhead:

Oh, the local pet stores don't sell rats as food, and PetCo is just too expensive. $13 for 3 65g rats. Stupid thing is they're labelled as 40g...

My local Petco sells frozen jumbo rats for $10.99 each, and they really aren't even what I consider jumbos. Needless to say, I get food for my boa elsewhere. I get large mice and small rats for my balls at local shows for $0.50 each or less. The person I usually buy from was at the Steel City Expo I went to last year.
