what do you keep ur baby corns in?
Just wondering what you all keep ur baby corns in?
Re: what do you keep ur baby corns in?
If I had to guess I would think most use small sterilite or other brand tubs
Re: what do you keep ur baby corns in?
When i bred corns all babies were kept in 6qt tubs with SMALL 1/8 holes for ventilation. Solder iron holes are too big at times.

I keep hatchlings in 8oz deli cups. Once they've had a few sheds I move them to these rectangular zip-loc storage bins with vent holes soldered in. They stay there until they're too big to squeeze through the small gap in the rack.

Not to hijack the thread but how do you get the 1/8 holes into the tubs? I have a soldering iron but not a drill.

You can get a fine tip soldering iron tip to make them. Just don't press it all the way through, stop when you have just a tiny hole.

I've had trouble with 6qt tubs in the past, the particularly tenacious ones have been able to escape. I'm about to start using the big rectangle ziploc containers for the clutch I have incubating this year.

That is exactly what I use after they're a few months old.
