    Moving to a 20 gal?
My brother just came home from college and gave me an old 20 gal glass aquarium, i was just wondering when its ok to move my BP into it. He's about 18"
90 or so grams and hasnt missed a meal execpt when he was in shed. Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Mike

As long as you set it up correctly, you should be ok. Just remember that once you do move him you should leave him alone for the next week to get used to it. Also, keep the enclosure you currently have him in handy just in case you have to move him back for a little while longer...

Personally I would wait to move the snake until it is about 500g. It isn't impossible to set up a small snake in a large enclosure but there is a good chance it will stop eating after the move at least for a little while.

As long as you have two tight fitting hides, the back and sides of the tank covered, and perhaps some fake plants for cover it should be just fine.

Depending on what he's in now, and what your ambient conditions are like, keeping a 20 gal stable could be quite a chore. Heat and humidity floats right out the top.

I also wouldn't bother moving the snake until it's 500 grams.
