    Weird eating dance?
    The last few feedings (F/T) my girl has struck, coiled, but doesn't to attempt to swallow right away. She seems really excited and quickly moves her body over and all around the rat. I dont know how long she does this before she starts to swallow but its at least 10 minutes. I just leave her alone and it always gone the next time i check on her.

    Has anyone else seen something like this? :confused:

    Yep. She's doing two things--first, she wants to make sure she finds the nose. Some snakes have more trouble with this than others (lol).
    Second, she wants to make sure the area is all clear of predators before she swallows the food. If she doesn't keep her nose on the food, she might lose track of it.
