Nice little hogs. They're short but can still be little fatties.

BPs are one of the bigger hatchlings out there, ESPECIALLY in relation to adult size! :P

When we got our female rainbow boa, she was 35g, and I assume not exactly fresh out of the egg.

So cute and tiny! :) Funny story, my hognose (Charlotte) was shipped from Georgia, and when the box arrived I anxiously ripped it open... I was throwing aside the packaging, and it seemed there was no snake in the box. I said to my roommate "where is she??" and she responded, "I think she's in that snake bag you just threw out." Lo and behold, she was in there - all 19g of her, so small I thought the bag was empty! :D Three months later she weighs nearly 60g, so they do grow fast and eat like PIGS.

Anyway, congrats on your new additions... I'm sure you will love them! Charlotte is one of my favorite snakes now, and has the sweetest temperament ever. I hope to get her a mate eventually, or maybe a pair of morph (red?) hoggies to breed.

That is true! I offered her a fuzzy (when she was smaller) that I was sure was too big, once I laid it down next to her... but it was in her jaws before I could remove it, and boy was I surprised to see her gulp it down. :O She's now comfortably eating fuzzies, but could probably take down a hopper without hesitation.
