    Snakes can be quite considerate!
So I was getting ready to feed my girl tonight and I was taking all of her "furniture" out: water dish, hides, etc. I always take this stuff out when she eats and she knows that when her stuff is gone that it is feeding time. I always take whichever hide she is in out last, to avoid getting bit!

So, she was in shed a few days ago and didn't eat. So when she did shed this afternoon, I figured I'd throw the rat in again.

Anyways, I go to move the last hide and she grabbed my thumb! I'm thinking, wow! This snake has never even struck at me once in the 3+ years that I've had her!

But then I realize, my thumb doesn't hurt. There is no blood. That big softie struck with her mouth wide open but didn't use her teeth!

That's when I realize that I've never seen blood on her rats, ever. She must be the world's most considerate killer!

I'm actually kind of bummed because she got all of my thumb and it would have made for GREAT bite pictures! I just had to share with you guys because I was left a little dumbfounded!

I dont "want" to get bit, but I too want a bite pic to post, lol. I suppose it could be called a right of passage as a Snake owner ?

I was just thinking about this! I never see blood when Chumley eats either!!

He also has taken to pooing in the EXACT same corner every time, and the smell must get to him too because he'll chill out in the cool side hide until I clean, then head right back over to his warm hide!
