Follicle question

So I palpated my Pastel tonight and she started breeding around Feb. she was a late starter. I can feel what feels like 2 quick bump like is attached to the other. Is this one follicle or two? The reason I ask is that I palpated my other girl that has already this year and felt single bump not this double bumping before she layed and was right on. I also feel it on more than one. So there are either 4 to 5 or 7 to 8 follicles lol.

When you palpate, if the follicles are big enough they will feel like individual bumps. Some will be so close together that they will feel like they are connected but they each represent a potential egg.

Cool Thanks hopefully she lays and I can find out for sure how many she has. Is pretty cool to feel them grow from week to week.
