cut my first clutch today, got some questions
hello, day 53 and I looked into the incubator to see a little albino sticking its head out of an egg so i put tenny weeny slits in the rest of the eggs (all albino from a het albino to albino pairing! begginers luck:taz:) so my question is now will all the others start to come out too? I don't need saline solution etc cutting this late do I?

Just leave them be and check back ever so often for babies that have came out.

I personally take them out as they emerge from the egg and put them in a tub on their own. Others leave them be till all have came out.

Just saw my distributor's spider clutch on Monday. Every baby was out but one. He kept the egg in there with its brothers (my friend got the only female). I'm going to follow suit when the time comes for me to have my babies emerge to the world.

Since you did not cut until you saw the first pip you wont need any saline or water in the eggs. They emerge within a day or 2 of pipping. The ones that did not pip will come out a day later than that most likely. I wait til its obvious they have absorbed the yolk and start bringing most of their body out of the egg. Then they are taken out and put on moist paper towels until the first shed.

thanks everyone! So I need to actually help them out when they get so far out?

I hope they are all nice and healthy when they come out, so excited!
Will put pics up as soon as I can.
With such good odds you can rest assured the rest of my clutches will come out all norms! I half didn't expect to get any albinos. :)

No - you don't need to help them out of the egg - they'll do it on their own.

    Congrats!

Congrats, how many albinos did you end up with? You didn't say how big the clutch was...
