    Kingsnake Tub Setup ????
Ok I'm looking to expand my collection a little and I found on BHB a Cali King Banana ...my only question is what size tub do u put a baby kingsnake in and without a rack how do you heat it. I know petco sells the zoomed or zilla sticky heat pads But are them small enough for this little of a snake/Tub. I don't wanna use another tank though I do have a 10 gallon available.

You can do a shoebox with a small heat pad underneath 1/4 of it. Don't put the water bowl too near the heat pad though or it gets much too humid. You'll only end up using about half of the heat pad, but at least you can use the same one when you bump up the tub size. I'm doing this for my baby sand boas right now, and I'm able to create a temp gradient of 80-95 in a shoebox sized tub. With a cal king, you might want to use some spacers so it doesn't get too hot, if you decide to use this method.

Do you recommend a specific heat pad and how do you set it up ?? stick it on and then cover it with foil tape and is there any room for those little pegs for air circulation. As you can tell Ive never set up a single tub before, I have two rack but have never set up the single tub.
