    my brother just got a red corn snake for his birthda its a couple years old and he has handled it before.. but after da feed a week ago evry time we touch it it kind jumps... ne advice or nething?

    That's normal. Mine always does that. I just lightly touch her until she stops jumping before I pick her up.

    It just means the snake is scared of you. I'm assuming you just got the snake. Leave it alone for a few weeks and don't handle it. You need to give it time to settle in.

    Thats normal for most colubrids. Its all a bluff as if their a badass

    totally normal. both my corns act all aggressive or jittery when i go into the cage to pick them up. after i get them in my hands they calm right down and stop trying to get away.
    let your chill out for a week or so if you just got it. then start picking it up for a bit each day till it gets used to you. if you have to, tap on the glass or use a stick to distract it while you pick it up with your other hand.
    if it does strike at you, do your best not to jerk away. it can hurt the snake.:snake:
