Egg skin stuck while taking eggs out
Hello,
Happy Monday. I just found out that my female laid some eggs!! I am a first time breeder, also I want to thank you for the good advices found here!
As I was getting the eggs out of her hide (they were stuck together), a thin layer of 1 egg skin got stuck on the floor of the hide (the one on the top right).
I was wondering if it could be a problem. The eggs are now on vermiculite, so is it possible that the egg rot?
Here is some pics :

Thank you very much.

Re: Egg skin stuck while taking eggs out
They should be good as long as there is no hole in them and they aren't leaking.
Only the 3 in the center are good eggs...The other 2 are slugs, no need to incubate them.

Congrats on the eggs! That looks like a neat enclosure, too. Do you have a full shot of it?
Re: Egg skin stuck while taking eggs out
Yep, as was said the two small ones are slugs. I would get them out before they start rotting. Especially the one that is attached to the good eggs.

Hello,
Thank you very much. I took out the 2 slugs. Should I put the egg deeper in the vermiculite?
I'll post pics of the enclosure this evening.
Denis.
