    Always glad to see the next generation of shooters. However, I think his position on the scope needs a little improvement. I've got a friend that has a nice cresent moon scare due to this same issue.

    Keep them shooting, and remember, "aim small, miss small".

    It was certainly a reference to Carlos Hathcock, likely the best sniper ever.

    The reason he is so far up on the rifle is because he needed his shoulder to keep the buttstock on the ground. I dont have a bipod yet and he was having trouble keeping the barrel up.

    Carlos has a son that followed him into the USMC. He too is a fine example of a patriot. I have a letter he wrote to me on behalf of his father. Dad was just not strong enough to write any longer. Both men taught me a lot, dad was an amzing man, one that will not be forgotten for some time.
