    OTA Surprises?
Anyone see something that would be considered a surprise during your teams OTA's? Nothing on the Ravens front. Seems like every other year. Other than waiting to hear about our injured (but recovering) cornerbacks, the rest seems to be status quo. Oh, but wait, we did move Oher over to Left Tackle and Gaither over to Right Tackle. Don't know if that's going to be used to move Gaither or just setting things up for the future with Oher protecting Flacco's back.

Nothing drastic with the Chiefs compared to last season...but more personel moves under the new coaching regime. I like the way they are doing things...finally.

The Ravens got their hand smacked because they ran their OTA too long and they may have had a little too much hitting going on. I don't know we were on the cheer leader's practice squad?!?! Imagine football players hitting too hard at practice? What's up with that?

I don't know, I'm concerned where football is going. This isn't a business office, it's football. Men do hit each other during practice.

Has the Raven's punishment been talked about in other parts of the country or is it just a Baltimore thing? I think the commish is crazy for cancelling next week's OTA because we practiced a little too long and hit too hard. Can you imagine?

Cowboys fan here - same with me. Nothing really exciting. If Dez Bryant can live up to the hype coming out of OTA's, 'Boys should have a lethal passing attack.

Still worried about the secondary though. But other than that, OTA's, thus far, have been boring and uninteresting.

Football season can't get here soon enough though!

The Lions lost out on a couple of days of OTA's for contact in practice. Per the CBA that the players union and the owners agreed upon, there is to be no contact at all during OTA's. Usuaaly it is a player that will complain to the union about the contact in practice and they will refer to the league, who will then look over the practice tape and make a decision.

Suh and Peterman went at it in our first OTA that had the rookies and vets together. It got reported in a few local news articles, and the league caught wind of it and reviewed the film.

The Lions, Ravens, Raiders, and the Jaguars all lost out on some OTA practices this year.
