Well she got really fussy. It's not about the live thing .. I tried live rats, live multis, live gerbils .. .nothing .. only mice .. Having said that - she didn't eat for 6 weeks so maybe she just stopped being fussy in general and it has nothing to do with mice ...

Well I don't mind either way - it is a wild animal and they never live to a rule book :snake:

My Mexican Black Kingsnake would probably eat water if I could wiggle it :D

At least when you feed live and they refuse you don't waste them straight away ...

That is one beautiful snake...you took some great pics!!

Every week it seems every single mouse does that ...ugh. We typically feed...then have everything ready to change the paper towels quickly without disturbing as much as possible then they are in for their 48 hour digestive private time. Ugh...stinky mice.....but I guess if I was hit that hard by something that big....I'd probably pee too...lol

haha true .. well stupidly enough I was too quick to feed ... I actually wanted to get rid of all that aubiose first and put her on newspaper .. That box is temporarly until I am moving house (got a viv already) so I am using heatmats which is ok .. but substrate makes it harder to keep the temps up ... now I fed her which means I gotta wait a few days anyway and then I get rid of that substrate ... I saw the mouse running around and marking like crazy ... probably stinks of mouse everywhere in there ... poor girl ... its like someone runs around with pizza here all the time and not letting me having any :D :D

But yea - she is indeed gorgeous .... Bianca is a little beauty :D
