Anybody use anything special in their BP's water? Or just plain ol' tap water?

I use filtered water, but I don't add anything into it.

I give them water from a jug I leave sitting at room temperature so it's not too cold or hot and I leave it open because I heard the chlorine will evaporate out of it.
I've heard nothing of adding to water. I've heard of stuff like calcium supplement powder for food, but that just gets told they get all their nutrients from food.

Tap water is just fine to use, no supplements really needed to be added into the water.
Like the post above, snakes get their nutrients from their food:gj:.

Re: water conditioner
I usually service bottled spring water when available, but on the rare occasion where I use tap I put a drop or two of conditioner. I live in a small town and from what I've read small towns have greater risks of contamination. I have been doing this for several years to no ill effect and will continue unless I hear otherwise

Tap water is fine for pretty much any reptile, bird, or mammal.

I use water from a water cooler that we have in our kitchen. It is filtered drinking water, and it has a hot and cold spout, so I use a little hot, and then the rest cold to get the water at the right temp.
I use the drinking water for two reasons. 1) just to make sure there are no contaminents, and 2) because we have hard water, and this way I don't get hard water stains in the bowls or in the tub if the water is spilled.
