Re: Cinnamon pastel ?
Cinnamon Pastel is a Cinnamon.
Cinnamon Pastel X Pastel is a Pewter.

Re: Cinnamon pastel ?
Originally the Cinnamon was called a Pastel Cinnamon or Cinnamon Pastel. When long-time breeders use this term they are reffering to a Cinnamon only. Not a Cinnamon x Pastel combo (Pewter).

Re: Cinnamon pastel ?
No. A Pewter is a double. It is what you call a cinny x pastel.
Before pewters were produced and before pastels gained popularity, the cinnamon was called pastel cinnamon.
There are still a few breeders out there who stick by the original name and call cinnamons (the single morph cinnamon colored snake) by that name. Even though it is confusing because people automatically think they are talking about a cinny x pastel combo which is called a pewter.
If you read the OP, the question was cinnamon X pastel = cinny pastel. I understand that a cinnamon is a Cinny Pastel but the answer to the Original question is Pewter.
Maybe just the wording of the question is what's causing the confision with everyone.

Re: Cinnamon pastel ?
Yes Gavin you are correct. People are just trying to explain that sometimes cinny pastels are just cinnys.
Here's my attempt :P
Apparently back in the day pastel was tacked on to the end of every morph for some god forsaken reason. Some people still call plain ol' cinnamons, cinnamon pastels, while the rest of us-who aren't stuck in the 90s-call them cinnamons, and cinnamon pastels, pewters.
It's very confusing, but some people will sell cinnamon pastels (cinnys) online, they aren't scamers, they just aren't with the times.
