Am I... Sick?

Since Friday night I've been feeling very nauseous and sick to my stomach. My mom did have the flu, but I don't think I caught it. I don't have a stuffy nose at all or any other symptoms besides nausea. Her flu only lasted a few days too, and my symptoms have lasted a lot longer than just a few days.

Now everyday since Friday I feel sick towards the mid to late afternoon and it stays like that for the rest of the day until I go to sleep, such as right now.

I took Pepto Bismol tonight but it isn't really working.. I think I may go to the doctor's tomorrow and see what he says.

I admit my diet isn't the greatest but I do have a healthy meal at least once a day. Maybe my diet could be the reason, but I'm not sure. Keep in mind this is not morning sickness:P.

Has this ever happened to you or someone you knew? Did you have anything severe? I don't want to worry but I honestly hate having the feeling of being sick to my stomach, I'm sure no one does either.:tears:

Just want a second opinion before I go to the Doc's tomorrow, just to make sure it's not something I can just walk off, I get too worried when I'm sick.

No chance of pregnancy...right?

No no no definitely not LOL, no chance of that by any means. Especially not at my age, I'm smarter than most girls I know:P

That is great to hear there is still a smart young girl out there! Now, maybe it is just a stomach bug. But since I am not a medical professional, I can't really diagnose you.

I know what you mean, honestly I'm pretty disappointed of some girls in my grade.

It may be just a stomach bug, one time I was sick for about a week or so, it was just straight nausea all day long. One day of that entire madness I only had a couple crackers, then I couldn't eat because it was that bad. I could barely get out of bed or even turn in bed without that really sickening feeling in my stomach.

Being sick really sucks, any time I'm sick I just absolutely hate it, I just want to be active and hang out with my friends instead of lay in bed sick all day.

Sometimes nausea with no other symptoms can be attributed to stress. Do you have exams you are worried about or anything else you're really concerned about? Stomach bugs don't usually last that long, though there have been some crazy ones floating around here, lately. Good luck with the Dr., hope its nothing serious and you feel better soon.

I'm not really sure if Im stressed about anything, it's summer now and everyday has been a lot of fun since school is out.

I was worried about having to probably put my dog to sleep cause he's pretty old and can't get up sometimes but that was after the nausea and we didn't put him down since he's still pretty alert but has arthritis. I'll keep thinking about what's causing this that's stress related though.

Update us and let us know your ok. I would hate for this to be your gallbladder or appendix...those cause simular symptoms but are more serious.

I hate being sick too, especially with tummy problems....let us know if your better.:please::please::please:
