Baby boas... What are they called?
I called a litter of boas hatchlings, and was reminded that they are born live... Oops! :stupidme: So are they just plain ol' baby boas or what? Babies that hatch from eggs are hatchlings, but is there any other name for live-born babies?
Re: Baby boas... What are they called?
Well, "neonates" would be appropriate, I suppose, though unless I'm mistaken, that could also be applied to animals that hatch from eggs. "Baby boas" will of course do just fine too. On some level, as long as you're understood, it's all good, right?
Re: Baby boas... What are they called?
"Neonates" or "New Borns" will work. Of course you could invent some words like "boalings"....
Re: Baby boas... What are they called?
Haha no, I was just checking. :) I hadn't heard another term, but I just wanted to see if anyone else had. Thanks!
Re: Baby boas... What are they called?
 I am going to call them boalings from now on XD

Re: Baby boas... What are they called?
Boalings has a nice ring to it. :gj:
Re: Baby boas... What are they called?
Neonates is what I call them, but I mostly use hatchling for those that came from the egg. I'm really likin' that boalings one though, seems to fit:)
