Hi! Found a Eastern milk snake...
I was at my work smoking a cig and i looked down and this beautiful little snake came over to me... picked him up, he was nipping frantically at me for a few minutes then warmed up to me.. so i put him in a container and took him home. now hes in a temporary tupperware w/ papertowels on the bottom, a hide(one of my many extras) and waterbowl.

i have a desk lamp on him as thats all i have for time being... he seems really tine, about 1 foot long, but really thin.. can he eat a pinkie? hes wild, so should i give frozen or live? i would think live because they cant fight back...

My milksnakes eat f/t pinkies just fine, from what I hear colubrids aren't that picky.

Wild caught animals sometimes prefer lizards over rodents. I believe there are a lot of small skinks in your area. Try them if it won't eat pinks. You can try Frozen Thawed, f/t, but may have more luck with live pinks. Sometimes they, the snakes, are stimulated to eat by movement of prey as well as by smell.

Post up a pic or two and good luck.
