1st clutch out!

5 nice hatchlings from mojave x normal pairing. I didn't hit the odds only got 1 mojave and 4 normals. Yet I'm pleased better 1 then none :). The normals looks kinda granite too, does anyone else agree?

As far as the black speckling goes on the sides....maybe someone with more experience will chime in but it seems to be fairly typical on most of my hatchlings. I think its just a development thing more than anything "granite" at work. I'd be more than happy to be wrong though.

Those are some sweet looking norms if you ask me. Just a nice ratio of spots and patterns, I'm diggin em'. Very nice pictures also!! I need to get me a camera so when mine hatch I can capture them as good as you did here!!
