    Ok I really do not want to sound stupid but when I am looking at the list of snakes u have and it says something like 2.3 ball python or 1.2 het pied I do not get what the numbers are for??? please understand I am new and do not get the abrevations :confused:
    thanks oh and is there a sticky for them I have not seen one as of yet maybe one of the admins can make one if there is not one . That would be Awsome

    x.y.z

    x is the number of male animals
    y is the number of female animals
    z is the number of unsexed animals

    so 1.2.3 would be 1 male, 2 females, and 3 unknown

    the above post nailed the numbers but what abbreviations are you having trouble with that would be the easiest question as there are millions. it might just be easier too just to bite the bullet and when you see one you dont know to quote it and in the same thread as what it means someone will jump in and answer it for you no problem at all.

    0.4 means 0 males and 4 females (there are no unknown so it can be left off)

    dropping the 3rd digit is very common other wise they would of wrote the same thing as 0.4.0 if you know them all there is no point really in saying you dont have any that you dont know the sex of

    The example of 0.4 normal BP is 0 male ball pythons and 4 female ball pythons.

    1.0 Pastel BP = one female pastel morph ball python.

    0.0.1 BP is an unsexed ball python.
