Good News: He Pooped Bad News: It was on me.

I got my dearest Apollo a little over 2 months now and things have been going great. Never had a problem feeding and he shed for the first time a few days ago.

Up until today, he hasnt pooped for me yet (just those white things) and I made the mistake of trying to take him out for a bit.

I noticed as I was holding him he was a bit lethargic but I thought it was just because he had just woken up. Little did I know he was just brewing a storm.

After a few minutes I hear a pretty loud popping sound, seriously it sounded like a cork from a champagne bottle popping. At first, I thought it was the popping sound I have read about concerning RI :rofl:

I looked down on my shirt and noticed a significant... Paste with plenty of liquid.. Ewww.. :weirdface:weirdface:please::weirdface:weirdface

Then the smell kicked in... Which was a horrific experience.

The only thing I can think of now is that I am glad he pooped.. Just not happy that it was on me.. and my bed :(

that should be a club..... yes i have been pooped on and peed on several occasions.... NOT FUN AT ALL!!!

I don't think there will be a lot of people banging down the door to get into this club...:rofl:

The door seems to be opened for us and we tend to get pushed in :mad: I have also been a club member on countless occasions.

LOL yeah, I joined the club a LONG time ago while sitting at my computer surfing bp.net!

be lucky it was only a ball, and not an 8ft boa or retic or blood python lol, my borneos tend to go 3+ months between BMs. thats a lot of poo.

i havent made it into the club yet, one of my emeralds almost got me once, but i saw what she was about to do and moved her so she only sprayed the floor lol

Good Grief I think I am the president of that club!! :rofl: My first few months as a ball owner I swear I got it EVERYTIME I held them. Now I know their deal!! We usually put down a comforter and towels and once they start moving they typically will go. After that we handle much more....:rolleyes:

You will quickly learn to see the "bulge" that indicates that a poop or pee is imminent and choose NOT to handle until they have relieved themselves in their enclosure, even if that means not handling for a few days. :D
