    Saharan sand boa escape!
Agh. I had a screen lid on the bin that I would've sworn she couldn't push up, or even try to, but apparently she did. Where would a burrowing type snake hide?! I looked under everything, and I left a heating pad out underneath a shelf, hopefully she'll seek out the heat. My house is the most cluttered thing in the world, and it's got a huge, equally cluttered, basement.
She's not an aggressive feeder by any stretch, so I doubt I'll find her with rodents, and sand boas barely drink, so I won't find her by leaving water out either. :tears:

Sorry to hear that. I'm not familiar with sand boa habits, so the best I can suggest is start looking right around the enclosure and work your way across the room.I am assuming that being a burrowing snake that it would look for the darkest, tightest space to squeeze into...Good Luck :gj:

All of my searching and furniture moving was useless. She was nowhere to be found.

BUUUUT just earlier tonight she crawled out of a box right next to me, haha. She's back in her bin now, with a much tighter fitting lid! Thanks for the help, even if eventually she just found me, haha.
