Would someone really pay for 50s metal cabinets?
We bought this house almost two years ago and we are slowly updating it. It was built in the 50's and NOTHING had been updated since the day it was put together other than some carpet in the living room and the bathroom. I hate carpet in the bathroom! :taz: I ripped that out one day while my fiance was at work, that was funny :P Anyway, we are gutting the kitchen and putting all new cabinets in this weekend. My aunt told me those cabinets were worth money because people who are remodeling their house to look like the 50s would love these  I'm not so sure about that....
Anyway, I plan to put them up on craigslist and maybe around town, but I don't want to sit on these forever. What would be a reasonable price, or should I even ask for money? There are 9 cabinets total, all are metal, but someone painted them white.

Those wood, rolly cabinets are going in my snake room. Don't ask me what they were thinking with this kitchen, it was a mess. We moved the fridge the day we moved in, and I don't really understand why there was room for two more metal cabinets on the floor

You might want to contact a local antique store....some ppl are into that type of stuff. You never know and it cannot hurt. They typically will pay you a third of what it is worth...but hey better than nothing!!

I love metal cabinets, easy to clean an sanitize and I don't care how things look.
