Re: Sharing my frustration
Man i feel your frustrations! Nothing gets me more upset then when i have no idea how the hell my snake managed to get out and even less of an idea where she could be. As im sure your know of the spots they usually go ill spare you that. Just keep things dark and scent the rooms and hopefully the little bugger will come out in the open. Wish you the absolute best of luck my friend. I pray the snake gods be with you!

Many thanks to you! Yeah I wish this was my first dance lol. This one here has escaped a couple time from feeding tubs and once even managed to get wrapped up in a circular saw.... I have my snake room in my garage. It gets irritating thats for sure! Time for a new rack I think.
Re: Sharing my frustration
I think you may need new enclosures that are more secure! Good luck!

You are correct. I am likely going to build a new rack in the next few days. I need to anyway as my collection seems to be growing too fast for the space I have!

Wow think you have me beat with the circular saw lol. I had to take a part my baseboard heating in my room where the tank is. She had her head peaking out looking at me but here was no way to get her out without taking the whole front panel off, she wasn't exactly cooperating either!
It really is amazing the small spaces they get through, my girl is about 1300g's and she fit through a space that i didn't think her head would go through let alone her largest part.
Re: Sharing my frustration
They are masters at squeezing through the tiniest little spaces. The circular saw was a good one. Also wedged herself behind my welder once too in between it and the wall. Guess it was warm. Still haven't found her as of this morning. After work today I have to start tearing the garage apart to see if I can find this little bugger.
Re: Sharing my frustration
Do you have any crawl spaces or ways she coud escape into the outside. and do you use the actual bay door to come in and out? I really hope that she didn't find a way to get outside :(. Best of luck tonight
Re: Sharing my frustration
Sadly, I had a broken window that was covered with only cardboard, and it might be possible that she got outside. Lord willing though, she didn't. It was cold outside - high 40s low 50s so hopefully she would have stuck to the warmth of the garage. We shall see! The last one that got out went outside and down my drain, then it flooded and backed up - worst rain I can remember in a long time. When it flooded, the snake washed up and was freezing so went to the garage to try to get warm. Found him the next morning. Hopefully this one does the same thing
I don't use the garage for the truck though, its too tall to fit:D
