    Cleaning the cage
When you guys clean your cages what do you use to clean them? After removing the substrate and all the hides, bowls, accessories what do you use to clean the sides and bottom of the tank?

I use a reptile safe disinfecting antibacterial solution called chlorohexidine. The mixture is about 1 table spoon per gallon of water so it goes a very long way and is completly safe for your snakes and such. Being that soap is toxic to snakes i researched and found this to be the best alturnative. I use that with some paper towels, spray the whole tank down after its completly enptied out, wipe clean and thats about it!

1:15 bleach to water. Just gotta make sure that the enclosure is very dry. For cleaning water bowls I use a 1:10 bleach water solution, let them soak, then rinse.

Chlorhexadine...the greatest stuff in the world. You can order it from Reptile Basics. You dilute it with distilled water (you don't have to but it is better) and the bottle will last you forever. I clean all of the reptile cages with this!!
