Ovulation #3

This is my largest normal female. She is also the only proven normal female I had until May 12th. She weighed 1900 grams last year pre ovulation. She laid 6 eggs with a clutch weight of 599 grams (99+ grams per egg).

This year pre ovulation she weighed 2384 grams. This is actually the tail end of her ovulation. She should go into her pre lay shed in about 10-15 days from now. Then the wait for her to lay, then the wait for them to hatch.. so much waiting involved with breeding ball pythons. :P

Hope she drops in the double digits for you...She has either great colors or that glow is out of hand...:gj:

She's glowing, but she's still very light colored.

Here's a pic next to my banded/reduced pattern girl who I'm hoping will prove genetic this year. She's about 10 days from laying her first clutch (I palpated 9 eggs, crossing my fingers).

Soooooooo...... I got home from work tonight.. and she looks even BIGGER! I don't know what to think... this girl has been growing like this for at least a week now. I thought when she had the initial big bloat that she had ovulated.. apparently I was wrong. I guess at this point she was building.. maybe this is ovulation.

Check this out... she bigger than the pics I took last night. Now it looks almost painful. I'm hoping for lots of eggs out of this girl.

EDIT: Side note. This girl hasn't touched a rat is over 4 weeks.
