droid (os) vs iphone vs blackberry
I have a Droid Eris and I love it..... infact I think it beats the iPhone... so do you have a Droid/iphone/blackberry let's discuss them!
Re: droid (os) vs iphone vs blackberry
I can't really vote because I currently use a Blackberry and at first I thought it was cool, but now I'm over it. I am eligible for upgrade July 21st and am looking to get the Droid Incredible. I have the ipod touch so I get how the iphone works, but I think overall I'm going to like the droid best...
Re: droid (os) vs iphone vs blackberry
Palm Pre Plus all the way for me. I've used many iPhones and Android devices along with BB's and the Pre kills them all for me. They are super easy to hack and it allows tons of new features to become available. I hate being tethered to an ecosystem like iTunes so either Android or WebOs for me.
There's absolutely nothing I don't like about my Pre.
BTW, this thread would go great in my upcoming tech forum here;)*cough*
Re: droid (os) vs iphone vs blackberry
Each have their downfalls.
Blackberry is setup nice.
Iphone is too internal junk for something to go wrong.
Droid OS are good, but I don't like the Droid itsself.
Re: droid (os) vs iphone vs blackberry
I like the droid the best for a few reasons.... Lots of apps, WAY faster than the Iphone *loading same page on same wifi network with no other apps running*, Couldnt figure out the blacberry.... plus the only goodish phone they have is the storm/storm 2 and thats a crappy touchscreen with *many flaws imo*, The htc incredible will have a 8 megapixel camera :O, the android os is a little difficult to learn at first but it will take me months to figure out all the potential it has...
but by far my favorite app is the bar code scanner..... its so cool to scan it then hit google shopper and see all the prices and reviews and where to buy :) I love my android :)
Re: droid (os) vs iphone vs blackberry
I have a motorola droid with android 2.1. Hands down way better then the iphone. Blackberrys are good for corporate business type stuff but..that is about it.
I personally hate blackberrys. I think their OS is garbage. The iphone is very user friendly but you can't customize anything. The Android OS is featured on many different phone models and is available on almost every wireless carrier and it is very customizable. If you customize your phone, chances are it will never look anything like another persons phone. This can be a pro or it can be a con.
For me, Android beats everything.
Re: droid (os) vs iphone vs blackberry
Android is a great OS for sure. It's still very young, so it's not the cleanest interface yet. Devices like the Incredible and EVO are heavily skinned by HTC with their own Sense UI and it's quite a bit cleaner to use.
My gf can't live without her iPhone I don't think, and it's super easy to use.
I love WebOs on the Pre because of it's superior multitasking ability. I once had 62 apps open and it didn't give on me. Of course I never have more than a few things running at once normally, but it's nice to know that it has that kinda juice.
Re: droid (os) vs iphone vs blackberry
iphone all the way! think bout it. apple has been makin electronics FOREVER they know what they are doin. it honestly stomps competitors in every aspect of a phone
Re: droid (os) vs iphone vs blackberry
Most any device that anyone throws up here as their favorite has been making phones much longer than Apple has. They make great computers, but have only been making phones since '07 and didn't make a good one until '08. Most Android devices are made by HTC, Motorola and Samsung so they have tons more experience.
Re: droid (os) vs iphone vs blackberry
I personally have an iphone and I absolutely love it. It is easy to use and has tons of great apps. The droid is a great phone and the open source is awsome and I think that as they are able to develop it more it will probably be the best operating systems out there. I just think it will need to develop a bit more before I get one. I do dislike that apple regulates things so much with the iphone. In a way it helps to keep virus and things like that out of the phones. I say you can't really go wrong with either the droid or the iphone at the moment.
