    Hatchlings first meal?
Looking for some tips. About how many attempts after the hatchling sheds dose it take before they will eat. Any special tips on feeding tricks to help for the fist meal? Any advice will help thanks.

well this is my first year with hatchlings so i cant speak from experience yet but from what i understand try a rat pink live then a mouse hopper live and then if you can you might have to get asf hoppers. im going to try f/t rat pink on all mine first off to see if i can get lucky but i doubt it. oh and some eat right off the bat some dont till you force feed just depends on snake, dont force feed till like week 5 i think it is im sure someone will correct me if im wrong.

I start with fuzzy mice. If thet don't take f/t, I try a live one.

I always start with hopper mice if snakes are 60grams plus. I also will let a hatchling that I know will have a good first feeding response(ie.babys that strike at hands) feed in front of a hatchling I might have a problem with. I have never fed rat pinkies to hatchling ball pythons:gj:
