He ate his 1st meal for me today!!!

I recently picked up a Great looking reduced pattern black back for a nice price, I tried to give it a pinkie to see if it'll eat...Nothing for 2 days...So I got ahold of the guy I got it from and he told me to try a sm/med mouse..

I'm at work so I cant post pics (I have pics of him in my gallery), but I will when I get home of him eating.

As SOON as I open the top and dangled the mouse, BAM!!!!...Dinner is served..lol...

From strike to swollowed, was no more then 5 minutes....This guy is gonna be a strong eater..

Side note, I am planning on (more convincing of wifey, lol..) picking up a Nice "normal" female for him in a week or two, she's got really nice somewhat reduced pattern and Nice blushing going on and is at least..I'd say 2000grms from the pics....

By the time my male is at breeding weight, I will have all the essentials of breeding/incubation covered and waiting..lol. :gj::gj::banana:

I'll get pics up in a little while, just wanted to share some of my personal happiness..LOL.:)

Yeah, I felt like a good Daddy when he looked at me, winked, then snatched that mouse outta my hand..LOL...I love these snakes. Cant wait to try my First time breeding!!!!!!! I'm not rushing that, but can't wait to have a cute clutch of babies..lol.

congrats man!!!! =P Have you ever watched the video's on youtube of the tics eating? its awesome! I thought my balls feed response was awesome, until I saw that, still is cool but it does kind of put it in to perspective when you watch a retic do the same thing that your bp did with a mouse to a rabbit....:P

David- I don't believe I've watched a Tic feeding...YET...I will be doing that as soon as I get home from work..LOL...I've owned 3 Burms, one of which was about 9+ feet, she liked bunnies..LOL...That was intense..LOL...Those damn things can Scream!!!!...lol...

You recently picked up a BP?..I got mine Sunday night...I love this little guy, cant wait to actually be able to hold him, I'm letting him settle in....His new home (10gal) for now should be ready this weekend....He's in a 6qt shoebox for now.

I haven't had a snake in about 4-5 months and seriously missed it..lol.
