Herp or Reptile store in Houston Tx

I just moved my Corn and BRB to Houston Texas. Does anyone know of recommendable pet stores. I drove around south Houston today and the only ones I found were dirty and all the animals were way over-crowded. If anyone knows of a reputable herp store in Houston please let me know. THX

Not sure where you are located but check these out. I've known Eric Haug for a long, long time and he has over 30 years of experience with reptiles of all types. You won't find anyone in the area more knowledgeable. He's been doing it since 1973. Here's the link (tell him Darrell sent ya):

I've been to the Ultimate Reptile Shop in Hockley. It's awesome! You have to go there! Just google it for directions.

The Hwy 6 store is closer but it's shutting down effective 6/30 and Eric is only there on Sundays. The Hockley store is freaking awesome. Best reptile store you'll ever go to and not only is Eric extremely knowledgeable in herpetoculture but he's quite entertaining as well. Well worth your drive, trust me.

Since I just moved to Houston and live near the southwest corner of the inner loop....how long of a drive would that be...of course in non-rush hour traffic

Probably 45 minutes to an hour to either store.
