    What morph is this? pics
I recently picked this guy up with a bulk deal of BPs that i got. I wasnt sure what he was but i knew he couldnt be a normal. He was sold to me as a certain morph but i wanted to know what everybody else thought before i said what he was sold to me as. Thanks for the help!

did you pick him up as a supposed visual or a het? Because to my eye he's looking pretty normal. I don't really see any of the subtle morphs (fire, yellow belly, enchi, granite, phantom/mystic/whatever).

What was he sold to you as?

i know its got the coloration of a normal but ive never seen those "stripes" going across the body like that. Plus there are no markings what so ever on the belly. I know that the clear belly can be on some normals too but with a pattern like that AND a clear belly?? something has to be genetic or that is one big coincidence lol

    Normals vary, A LOT.

Sometimes arrant patterns can be due to a lot of things in incubation. I've heard of a stressed egg theory--dehydrated or otherwise stressed eggs tend to produce babies that have strange patterns but they aren't inheritable.

what was he sold to you as?

He was sold to me as a yellowbelly but i never thought he was. I was just hoping he would be something else, maybe he could prove out, idk.

But I have heard of the whole stressed egg theory too. A friend of mine moved his eggs to a different incubator in the middle of incubation and all the babies came out with a full stripe down the back, none of it genetic though. So that couldve been the case with this guy

He has some pretty flames but that is no yellow belly as you already know.

I've got a girl over here that looks just like that. She just went through her pre-lay shed so I'll know in a few months if mine is at all genetic. I've also seen a few similar ones that were said to be genetic.
