I'm fairly new to BP's, And was wondering does having a clear belly mean something? I have an ''odd ball'' with a clear belly.
Thanks in advance,
Jeremiah

Re: Clear belly?
With certain morphs it is preferred to have a white belly, some are supposed to have white bellies like piebalds. With normals it does not matter, white bellies are just pretty. Hope that helps you out some.

Re: Clear belly?
I picked two of my 04 pet store animals largely based on having wide clear bellies. I'm hoping each will be a new line of different respective clear belly proven morph. I might get babies from both this year to finally see. Funny part is that by now I could actually afford a proven line animal from one of the morphs I'm hoping for.

I read somewhere that 92% of Statistics are made up.:)
I just donno how someone could come up with a even close to accurate number for that. too many ball pythons in the world and using closely related ball pythons would most likly make it sway one way or another. I guess we could do a forum poll. but still I think this forum is too small of a group, compared to all the normal balls in the world.
I have 3 normals and 2 of them have close to clear bellies, about 98%. other is just all dirty up to heck lol.
some morphs i guess have clear bellies no matter what, i do not know what they are tho, thats why when you see the "is this my normal bought from a pet store a morph?" thread, people will ask if it has a clear belly. it can prove if you think you have a certian morph, that it is not the morph in question. but clear belly cannot prove a ball is a morph.
