heat tape setting

hey there i have a herpstat nd 2 n flex watt heat tape its set a 97 in the day n 89 at night isthat a good drop or nt

I wouldn't bother with nigh drops at all unless you are trying to bring adult snakes into breeding mode.

What temps do those settings actually give you in the snakes warm end hide ( beneath and on top of the substrate if possible ).
