"het" normals

I'm completely new to BP genetics, but I do have an understanding the basis of het snakes. What kind of markings would you look for to be pronounced(if any are even significant) to determine whether a Normal might possibly have something special hidden in it? Also is there any list of basic slang/terminology for morph marking?

There are only a few Hets that have visible markings. Most must be guaranteed by the breeder who hatched them. Some of the breeders can answer this more specifically...

There is no way to visually tell if they are carrying recessive allele. Two parts to every gene, one is expressed and one is not. There is no way to tell unless you know the parents.

If you don't know the breeding there is really no way to know. However if you are looking at a group of definite "possible hets" an experienced eye can probably pick out some good candidates.

Het Pieds sometimes have belly markers.

Het Clowns are usually brighter with a lot of white highlighting there pattern.

Here is my 66% Poss Het Caramel Albino. I feel she has a really good chance of being het due to her coloration (clear colors with white outlines and good contrast) and light head spot.
