    Hi,

    That's not a question with a clear cut answer I'm afraid.

    It depends on the shape the eggs are arranged in as well as depth of substrate and whether you are using substrateless or buried in the substrate methods. And one of those varies with every clutch. :rolleyes:

    I just want to get the tubs ahead of time! I will probaly use hatchrite. I just wanted to know a minium height so I can get more clutches in the incubator but it does not matter as I only need two egg boxes since I only have two females but I will get more evenually! I don't even have a gavid female yet but I like to get everything way ahead, its just the way I am!!! LOL!

    look at getting the shoe box sized tubs . .they should hold a small clutch well just grab a couple differnt ones incase you get a tall pile of eggs ( same can be said abot a wide pile)
